Luis Mozqueda is a 2026 3B/RHP/C with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Laredo, TX who attends John B Alexander. Big and physical build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a simple and well timed swing, has a short and direct swing and fires his hands hard, uses his strength well, showed an accurate barrel and a middle of the field line drive approach. 8.81 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has some young arm strength and can change arm angles throwing, can work low through the ball more consistently. Also caught and has some skills behind the plate, feet work well and gets through his throws well, short and efficient exchange and release. Took a turn on the mound, big leg raise and has a high front side over the rubber, gets downhill from a high 3/4's arm slot, long on line arm action in back, hides the ball well. Fastball worked up to 71 mph to go with a soft curveball.
