Eli Hellmann is a 2023 SS/2B, RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown. Medium frame with a lean build showing some fast twitch muscle. Ran a 7.06 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, bouncing around proving to have some lateral range. Feel for the glove showing as he scoops it up before working into transfer. Quick release and was accurate with throws up to 86 mph. Fundamentally sound with feel for the position present. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, simple mechanics as he lifts to the belt before striding down the hill. Full arm swing in the back and released from a higher slot. Fastball up to 82 mph with a 2108 spin rate. Also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball in the low-70's with spin rates up to 2397 rpm. Rounded three-pitch mix off with changeup in the mid-70's with spin rates peaking at 1633 rpm. Right-Handed Hitter, even base to start while slightly open. Hanging leg lift to stride. Hands stay compact as he works into swing. Slightly uphill path and proved he could drive it gap to gap when he timed it up properly. Outstanding Student. Named to National Uncommitted Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
