Michelangelo Duva is a 2023 RHP/2B with a 5-11 142 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Albuquerque Academy. He ran a 7.75 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a lean build. On the mound he starts with a slight side step up to a leg lift above the belt as the hands follow the leg through the leg lift. He worked mostly with the slider inhale upper 50's finding the zone consistently but showed the fastball at 64 mph when he went to it repeating both pitches from the lower side arm slot. On the infield he works around the ball well gathering into a lower release on his throws with accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, does a nice job staying level through the hitting zone with the barrel, will develop more power as he continues to fill out the frame.
