Noah Turner is a 2023 RHP/UT with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Taft, TX who attends Gregory-Portland. Long, lanky frame with long limbs, a high waist and room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a coiled leg lift into balance and good stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-80s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 88 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Developing control of the strike zone with some natural arm-side life to the fastball, generates some downhill plane through the bottom of the zone when in-sync. Flashed a slurve shaped breaking ball with some horizontal sweep to it when thrown with conviction and a slightly faded changeup as his go-to secondary offerings. Intriguing arm talent that will need to refine his. mechanics to improve control and sharpen secondary pitches. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to create torque, displayed developing bat-to-ball skills and has some strength in his hands. Will need to make proper swing adjustments to become more consistent at the plate. Possesses tons of intriguing aspects on the mound that will continue to improve with further refinement, should see another velocity jump with improved mechanics and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
