Lukas Waite is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Patrick Henry. Features a tall, athletic, projectable frame. On the mound he has three-pitch mix that includes a fastball, curveball and change up. He works primarily out of the stretch with an over the top arm slot. Fastball has arm side cut while he works linear down the mound. Plus spin rate for his age (2222 rpm). His curveball has 12-6 movement with depth. In the outfield he showed proper footwork and glove technique. Fielding everything cleanly with a strong accurate arm. At the plate he has a wide base and works down and through. He has good bat speed with the ability to go gap to gap. Barrel ability is present. He is a great student.
