Mason Sims is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Corona. Features a medium, athletic frame. On the mound he has a four-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and a change up. Showcased a quick, loose arm with high velocity for his age. Slider shows sweeping movement with the ability to locate. He has an athletic, repeatable delivery. In the outfield he shows proper footwork and glove technique. He throws out of a 3/4 slot with the ability to one hop with accuracy. At first base he made all the plays and throws with accurate double play feeds. At the plate he has an up the middle approach with developing bat speed. More to come with maturity. He is a good student.
