Bob Uslander is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Solana Beach, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Features a medium build with some strength present. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showcased proper footwork with the ability to make the routine play. Range profiles well for a corner spot. Can make plays on the run. Threw 77 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a bent stance with a toe tap timing mechanism. Swings on a direct path with loose hands through the zone. Approach consistently works from middle to opposite field. Developing consistent body control and balance will allow the barrel accuracy to improve. Right-handed pitcher. Uses semi-windup delivery into drop and drive mechanics. Shows good intent down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 using short arm action. Has solid arm speed present. Fastball sat 75-79 mph on a downhill plane. Offering worked well at the top of the zone. Curveball at 65-67 mph showed downward action with late bite when spun well. Solid control of the offering was shown, landing it at the bottom of the zone. Also flashed a tumbling changeup at 70-73 mph. Pitch consistently keeps hitters off balance and generates a fair share of whiffs. Excellent student.
