Kaza Nishiba is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends La Jolla Country Day. Features a lean build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Moves well laterally. Showed the ability to get around ground balls well. Caught it cleanly with momentum at catchpoint. Allows for a quick transfer into accurate throws. More arm strength should come down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a simple load. Stays balanced throughout swings. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Swings on a linear path with good extension out front. Has solid bat speed for the age with feel for the barrel. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u West Coast Prospect Top Prospect List.
