Yamato Takahashi is a 2025 OF/RHP, UT with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Hartland, WI who attends Arrowhead. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Hits from wide-spread and pre-loaded stance, simple rock back to start, holds hands high and keeps them there, creates some stretch, length on entry to flatter plane, rotates pretty well, more of a pull-heavy approach, has some hitting traits. Worked out in the outfield, keeps feet moving and shows good efficiency to footwork, clean arm stroke with quality strength, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
