Kyle McDermott is a 2024 OF/UT with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Monroe, NY who attends Monroe Woodbury. Recorded a 5.08 second forty-yard dash. The primary outfielder has a tall and very projectable frame. He leads up to the ball using short and choppy steps and moves with a quick transfer and a sidearm arm action accurately throwing the ball to the bases at 82 mph. Also taking groundballs in the infield showcasing his arm at 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps into the box with a wide and open stance and high hands. McDermott has a high leg lift trigger and loads the hands back while working the ball middle to opposite field approach as he is developing backspin on the ball. Tremendous student.
