2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed)
Stephen Gladding is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Pompano Beach, FL who attends Pine Crest. Durable, strong built frame with dense strength and moving around well with some hop in his step. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Primary position IF, with a corner infielder profile long term. Gets into his routes with good angles and presenting the glove out front leading to a deeper funnel to transfer. Solid arm strength, accuracy got much better throughout the round and showed throws up to 84 mph across the diamond with solid carry. RHH starting from a medium width base and using a heal-lift trigger to get on time. Works hands from a high to low and uses a lofted path to impact showing advanced strength in his hands. Will get some head tilt here and there leading to some inconsistency with the barrel but there is no doubting the power potential. Young prospect with a power oriented game who is also an elite performer in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
