Dale is a 2005 grad from Valley View High School in Southern California. He stands 5'10" 215 lbs with a mature build, strong looking forearms and a well muscled lower half. Dale has the kind of build and strength that's not going to wear down, even catching every day. At the plate, Dale shows you a simple approach from a wide base, with a compact swing that creates good bat speed. He showed his power to the opposite field and stayed back well on breaking pitches. Dale has lots of energy behind the plate, has good flexibility and quickness. He has solid arm strength and had pop times down to 2.09. Overall, he is a well rounded catcher and a good athlete (7.2-60) at the position who profiles well to the college level. He's also a very good student.
