2022 Jupiter Qualifier Workout Showcase
Julian Bonilla is a 2025 SS/C/OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Juncos, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Ran a 7.13 second sixty. Primary short stop with a smaller athletic build. Moves well around the ball on the infield presenting the glove early and receiving the ball out front with soft hands funneling cleanly to the mid line. Showed young arm strength that will improve as the footwork carries him into the throws form the fielding process. Comes and gets the ball fine in the outfield with a good breaking down as he fields it on the side and transfers into a long arm action throwing from a lower slot with developing carry on the throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base using a toe tap trigger. Showed developing bat speed through the hitting zone with a. level bat path. Impacted the ball best to the middle of the field when he was on time with the toe tap. Very good student.
