Luke McCullough is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Loyola-Blakefield. Long and lean projectable build. Works from a short side step start with a low leg raise over the rubber, clean arm action, can get more energy and torque from his core and lower half, repeated his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the low 70's and topped out at 73 mph, mostly straight with occasional running life, threw his fastball for strikes. Also threw a soft curveball for strikes. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide slightly open start with a deep hand load, has a long and extended swing, flashed some carry to the left center field gap when he got his barrel out front. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, fields the ball out front with good glove position and stays on line well throwing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
