Julian Rodriguez is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Placentia, CA who attends El Dorado. Has a smaller/athletic build that moves well down the mound. Has a basic belt high knee lift delivery with a back turn. Arm shows quickness working to a lower ¾ slot while hiding it well. Ran the FB up to 84 sitting 81-84 with some natural running action. His low 70s SL had sharp sweeper qualities that induced some swing and miss during his outing. Defensively, he exhibited athletic actions with his range, quick feet and solid glove skills being able to work through the baseball and get off quick throws from a lower ¾ slot. At the plate, he sits in a taller open stance. Uses a simple lower half trigger with a bat that wraps a bit into launch position. His barrel works direct to the baseball with hands that get inside the baseball well. Barreled several line drives up the middle and to the right center gap. 7.50 60 yd. Made Top Prospects list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
