Clay Travis is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Heritage HS. Slender young build with lots of growing head of him. Switch-hitter at the plate, primary right handed hitter from this impression, has a short top hand dominant swing with a line drive swing plane, works middle away with an inside swing path. Similar stance left handed but still developing the body shift and hand strength to get the barrel out into the zone on time. Bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Has good hands in the middle infield on defense, works through the ball with good fundamentals footwork and a smooth exchange, arm strength is developing. Excellent student.
