Bennett Lomax is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Marshall. Medium frame with a young, lean build. Ran a 7.48 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively out of the stretch as he lifts to the belt before utilized drop and drive mechanics. Full arm circle in the back and then delivered from a lower three-quarter slot. Did a good job staying down in the zone as he worked with a two-pitch mix. Fastball up to 68 mph and flashed a breaking ball showing depth. Secondary Infielder, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to keep it in front of him. Gathers deep in the stance before working into transfer. Threw it 62 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a wider base and a lower hand set. Fast paced load before showing a smaller leg lift. Longer swing path with a downhill cut as he looked to drive it the other way. Good Student.
