Dante Bonafilia is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Palos Park, IL who attends Marist. Medium frame with mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.44 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with hands set forward, quick leg lift trigger, steep entry path, stationary lower half, middle approach. Worked out at 1st base, surrounds the ball well, clean funnel, 3/4 slot on throws, clocked up to 64 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, work from the stretch, wants to be up-tempo, over top arm slot with some hitch to it, fastball worked 63-65 mph, flashed slow curveball as well. Very good student.
