Tj Giannetti is a 2024 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-9 144 lb. frame from Scranton, PA who attends West Scranton High School. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow straight stance, barrel tilt start, straight stride into contact, short and compact swing, front side tends to pull off early costing him extension, mostly pull side contact. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball aggressively and stays low to the ground, some idea on his footwork in his transition, developing arm strength but makes accurate throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a medium length arm action and good direction to the plate. Fastball worked up to 72 mph with some running life. Change up was a good pitch for him with nice tunneling from his fastball, also threw a soft curveball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
