Connor Smith is a 2027 2B/RHP, 3B, SS, MIF with a 5-10 114 lb. frame from West Bloomfield, MI, who attends University Of Detroit Jesuit. A medium frame with a slender build and athleticism showing. Projectable frame moving forward. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder with athletic & quick feet. Had a shorter arm action with soft hands working through it. Moved well with projectable actions. Compact arm action with throws at 74 mph across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with high set hands and a high-back elbow. Used an even base and a squared stance. Uses a heel lift trigger and was able to get the hands through the zone and work pull-side during his round of BP. Produced a 76 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the center to the mound with a side step into a higher leg lift. Sinks into his backside and works from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Worked up to 73 mph on the fastball and paired it with a slurvy breaking ball. Named to 2023 Michigan Indoor Showcase TP List.
