Corey Cole is a 2027 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Jurupa Valley, CA who attends Ganesha. Features a taller lean build with projection. Ran a 7.90 60-yd dash. In the OF, has a relaxed approach to start and fields it out front and clean. Slight gather and reshuffle after reception. Arm action was shorter in the OF with throws being lower arcing and accurate to the bag up to 79 mph. In the INF, he showed clean actions. Quality glovework with lighter feet that play through the baseball. Similar shorter arction from the OF. Solid corner projection. At the plate, he sits in a wider slightly open stance. He uses a smaller leg lift trigger with hands that stay pretty neutral. Barrel gets in the zone early and works on a slight uphill path through the zone with above avg. bat speed for his level. Showed a middle approach with some good feel for the opposite field. On the mound, he side steps into a belt high knee lift. More drop/drive type with lower half. Arm works longer out the glove with a slight stab in the back and up to a ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 80 flashing some ride through the zone and leaked it armside. Mixed in a mid 60s breaker that showed quality slurvy shape. Also sparingly used a low 60s changeup as well. Name to Top Prospects List.
