Tyler Blasco is a 2025 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Setauket, NY who attends Ward Melville Senior. Recorded a 7.37 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with athletic look and plenty of time to physically mature. Primary first baseball with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process with slightly deeper funnel position and slightly elongated transfer into release. Recorded accurate throws up to 59 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary outfielder with aggressive approach into the fielding process and clean gather off his front to field, while using some extra steps into an over-the-top throwing motion. Recorded throws up to 62 mph from the outfield during drills. Switch-hitter with similar attributes from both sides of the plate. Implores a slight closed, coiled stance from both sides with a higher hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Displays subtle hand load to get things started with rotational lower half mechanics implored to get to launch. Developing bat-to-ball skills with elongated, rounder swing path from both sides and some young present bat speed. Slightly more consistent from the right-side in this look, will continue to improve at the plate with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
