Sebastian Lacruz Valiente is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Medfield, MA who attends Medfield. Young, athletic frame with narrow shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and shows athleticism to actions, glove plays nicely out front at the ball with softness to them, maintains balance on the charge play, longe arm action on throws across. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tight high hand set and back elbow with an even stance and utilizes a hover leg lift for timing in the box. Stays very short with swing path through the zone, contact oriented approach but took some of his best swings in live action where he showed carry off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Can continue to implement additional lower half into swing and bat speed will continue to develop with added strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
