Jacob White is a 2024 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Lakeside, IA who attends Storm Lake. A medium frame and build. Length throughout the build. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who had a quicker arm stroke with throws across the infield being at 83 mph. He ranged well laterally and moved up the middle well. Athletic footwork to get through it smoothly. Clean transfers on his throws with a good feel for the angles on the approach. Also worked out as an outfielder, with throws coming out at 80 mph, showing clean footwork and accurate throws. Looked the part. One-hop accuracy to home and throws were slightly uphill with a good round overall. A right-handed hitter with a wider base, higher-set hands, and a higher back elbow. Useds a quick shift of the feet to stride into it, rotating hard through contact. He was able to work pull-side well during his round of BP throws with some strength. Best contact came pull-side during his round of BP swings. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a hit in-game. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who operated out of the stretch only with a leg lift up above the belt. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot. The fastball was up to 80 mph and had some arm-side run and downhill angle to it. Showed a changeup up to 72 mph with some depth to it and arm-side fade. Mixed in a low-70s curveball as part of the arsenal as well. Threw 1 and 2 innings and added a punchout. Great sudent.
