Caden (CJ) Wallace is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Candler, NC who attends T C Roberson. Classic pitchers build, tall and lean with a ton of projection and time to build strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Primary RHP starting from the 1B side of rubber, using a simple step in front leading to very upright posture over the rubber showing good balance. Separates hands at the chest working into deep, full arm path slightly offline in the back. Low 3/4 arm angle as he accelerates hand to the plate. Tends to stride a touch open and will leak his front side here and there. However, he generated a lively FB up to 80 mph with real arm side run that induced a lot of weak contact. Secondary offering was a breaking ball with slurvish shape in the mid-to-upper 60's, that he landed often for strikes. Hitters didn't seem to see him well and rarely put good swing on him. Components are there to be a tremendous arm long term. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
