2022 PG Softball Oklahoma City Scouting Combine
Paxton Dekkers is a 2025 1B from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Harrisburg HS. Currently maintaining a 3.9 GPA she shows great power as a stand in RHH and has a great glove at 1B. Paxton shows great upside when it comes to barrel control and power potential. She does a great job pull side of the field, where she is able to clear her hips well on the inside pitch. Areas of growth for Paxton offensively are with her timing on both halves of the plate. Needs to let the ball travel a little bit longer to get the most out of her explosiveness with her lower half. Overall very strong athlete and shows great power at the plate. . Defensively she plays a great 1B. Good quick hands to the ball and does a great job commanding the ball from her infield when receiving at the bag. She shows a strong overhand arm strength when working the ball across the infield. This athlete is a hard worker and her willingness to learn is exceptional. She shows great upside as she continues this journey towards playing at the next level.
