Seth Winkler is a 2023 SS/RHP, C, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Saint Charles, IL who attends Saint Charles East High School. He has a medium frame with a solid build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary shortstop that has clean footwork and good range to both sides of his body. He has a good feel for the glove and is confident in fielding backhands. He has solid arm strength and shows the ability to create carry across the diamond. Secondary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it off his front foot. He has a quick transfer and works through his throw well, making consistently accurate throws. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base and uses a toe tap trigger for timing. He has a rotational swing that he pairs with a short bat path. He has a pull approach and could add even more strength by working through the ball with his lower half more. Named to the 2022 Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
