2023 WWBA Workout Showcase (Fri)
JR Hudson is a 2026 OF/RHP, 1B, 2B, IF, UT with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Riverview. Lanky, youthful athletic frame that will physically mature with age. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works through it well, hunched over at the belt line coming to it, elementary fundamentals, showing two hand gather off to the side at times, developing feel for fluid footwork, throws were on-line with accuracy. Right-handed hitter, even base, wider stance, higher hands away from body, knee lift trigger and creates some separation, more active set of hands pre pitch and getting into slot, some barrel wag, middle of the field impact, hands load back at times, tendency to get uphill, short compact swing when everything is right. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
