Matteo Martinez is a 2025 MIF/RHP, C, 1B, 3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Clovis West. Medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.81 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder, proved to have some agility as he flashed lateral range. Scooped the baseball up out front with confidence before working into a quick transfer. Accurate arm as he threw it 65 mph during drills. Fundamentally sound and will make big strides with a strength gain. Left-Handed Hitter, starting slightly spread out to start with high hands. Lift to stride type load before falling back a bit with weight on the backside. Easy hand load before firing the hips and getting the bat heat through the zone. Found barrels and proved he could drive it back up the middle of the field. Outstanding Student.
