Aiden Gelpke is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 117 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Langtree Charter Upper. Lean and lanky young build. Primary right handed pitcher who works from a full wind up with a high leg raise start, mid 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well in back and creates some deception. Fastball topped out at 70 mph with nice sink and run to it down in the zone. Also threw an 11/5 breaking ball with some developing spin. 7.92 runner in the sixty. Played the outfield when not on the mound, arm action was loose and smooth with good extension out front, very similar arm action to on the mound. Right handed hitter, gets into his legs and lower half well to start his swing, high hand start, line drive swing plane with some feel for the barrel, consistent middle of the field line drive approach.
