Jakeb Koop is a 2023 MIF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Piedmont, OK. Long and lean frame with an athletic build and room to project. Ran a 6.81 second 60-yard dash. Primary middle-infielder, easy mover and plays with good energy, gets to spot well and fields clean out front, under control through release and can adjust to lower slot on move well. Also pitches, uptempo delivery with athleticism and good rhythm, loose release and confident in the mix, up to 83 with the fastball with arm speed to project more on, good spin and feel for the breaker, landed it well and showed a changeup too. Righthanded hitter, simple movements, has some length to the swing but has some hand speed and able to work it out, good quickness overall but best impact came the other way, will project to strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
