JP Marshall is a 2025 C with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Venice, FL. Medium stocky frame with physicality to the build. Ran a 9.03 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with a slightly higher setup, transfers short from the glove to the hand and gains some ground working through the ball. Repeats his actions well and works on line with his throws with developing arm strength. Switch-hitter, sets up slightly open from the left side and strides closed into the swing, works the barrel head out front on a linear swing plane and generates contact to the pull side. Shows a more direct path on the right side with limiting use of the lower and a steep path to contact with developing impact strength.
