Christopher Martinez is a 2026 3B/2B, SS with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Miami Gardens, FL who attends City Of Hialeah Education Academy. Lean frame with a higher set waist. Ran an 8.50 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who worked out at the position showing off footwork that carried him to the ball and helped him get into a position not field the ball. Had a decent funnel working into the throw. Had comfort with the forehand, making the picks with the glove. A right-handed hitter with a wider base, hands set high and high back elbow. Had a compact stroke and was pretty direct with the hands. Used a step and stride to get on time. Showed the ability to rotate with some speed and intent. Quick hands. Projectable actions in the batter's box that will continue to develop as he continues to fill out his frame. Worked the middle of the field during his round of BP. Picked up a hit during the games as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
