David Dagnino is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-10 142 lb. frame from Euless, TX who attends Trinity. Primary shortstop with a slender athletic build. Showed above average speed with a 6.96 second sixty. Works around the ball with good angels receiving the ball in the middle of the body and maintaining good direction while playing in rhythm and showing solid arm strength across the diamond with accuracy. Right handed hitter starts with a narrow base and open stance. Creates some separation with a coil as he loads into the back side. Showed flashes of bat speed getting to extension out front while controlling the barrel with the hands. Good student.
