2022 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Brode Gann is a 2023 LHP/ with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Agoura Hills, CA who attends IMG Academy. Tall, lean build with good amounts left to fill out and provide future projection. Ran a 7.67 in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, quick high leg kick into a three-quarter delivery. Good balance and direction on his front side. Creates good angle to his fastball and curveball at a consistent release point with more in store as the frame fills out. Outfielder, controlled actions and strong throws on a line. Good momentum and charge to ball and gets it deep. Right-handed hitter, uses an all-fields approach from a linear path. Shows some strength when timed and gets the hands extended. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
