Camden Dean is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well and charges hard to the ball, fields it out front and works through it well, long and loose arm action, shows carry and accuracy out of the hand, repeats actions well. Athleticism plays around the first base bag as well, sound glove work and funnels cleanly, accurate throws to the intended base with carry. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, high leg raise with hip turn at top; compact arm action and hides it well, ball gets on hitters quickly and plays up, topped out at 78 mph and filled the zone while showing a sweeping curveball with depth in mid-60s for strikes. Switch-hitter, begins with a lower hand set and a high back elbow from the right side, worked to all fields with line drive contact and showed quickness in hands. Shows lift to swing plane with a long path through the zone left-handed, higher finish through contact with flashes of strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
