Kelby Broughton is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen. Posted an 8.44 in the 60. Primary 3B showed a solid motor in the infield. Developing athleticism and should continue to progress smoothly, has a feel for the fundamental glove actions while the arm action progresses. On the mound the right-hander topped the fastball at 71 and flashed some depth on the breaking ball. Utilizes a simple and quick delivery with a high slot arm action, maintains sync in the actions with a fluid arm. Some pitchability present showing feel to spin the curveball. Left-handed hitter has moving parts in the swing to build on. The barrel control will improve with strength as he develops, plenty of time to refine and connect the pieces.
