Chip Tucker is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Saint Joseph, LA who attends Tensas Academy. Medium frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.41 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows very quick feet around the infield, gets to the spot well and gathers it deep with confidence in the glove, gets going to bag well and shows solid arm strength on throws across. Also pitched, works quick and releases from a three-quarters arm slot generating good late sink to the fastball while showing solid feel for a bigger breaking ball with good spin and depth. Left-handed hitter, sets up open and narrow, calm approach and works slightly uphill through the zone, able to create some separation and leverage with his hands and works best to pull with good impact when squared.
