Ryder Kiesel is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Fort Mitchell, AL who attends Russell Co. Kiesel ran a 8.35 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with a tall slender athletic frame with plenty of time to add additional strength going forward. Stays back on the ball in the outfield catching it cleanly and fielding it off to the side with a one handed gather. Working uphill with a straight over the top arm action on the throws showing some strength and cary to the bases with some accuracy throughout. Secondary right handed pitcher works a slow deliberate operation with a slightly above hip height leg lift. The arm stroke showed some looseness to it with the release point being straight over the top. Great command to both sides of the plate with he fastball as he peaked at 71MPH. Showing a curveball that topped at 50mph with a 12-6 shape and some late depth to it in the zone as well as a slider at 58MPH that had some tightness to it with plenty of horizontal break across the zone. Right handed hitter with a medium slightly open base with a smaller leg lift trigger. The hands work in rhythm to create a linear path through the zone as he stays simple and repeats the movements well. Kiesel works a middle of the field approach.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
