Ryne Maestas is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, MIF, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Providence. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to grow moving forward. Ran an 8.11 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, longer arm action with an extra step moving into throws, shows accuracy to first base, can continue to work through release moving forward. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, longer arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Comfort working to arm side, fastball topped out at 67 mph, shows some whip to arm action. Landed curveball for strikes with 11-5 shape up to 60 mph, shows a present feel for the pitch. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Long swing path through the zone, handsy stroke and can incorporate additional lower half shift, worked to the middle and pull side parts of the field, remains compact through point of contact.
