Christian Cox is a 2024 SS/C, 3B with a 5-7 156 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Recorded a 8.14-second sixty-yard dash time. Small, athletic frame with loads of strength remaining to be added. Primary shortstop, gathered well behind ball, carries momentum through throws. Flashed some range going to his glove and hand side. Over the top arm slot, while showing the ability to change slots and throw on the run. Left-handed hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance and high-hand set. Utilized leg-lift-trigger to begin operation. Downhill swing plane that produced line drives to all fields. Compact hand speed, repeating swing well with some whip to barrel. Good student.
