2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Jaden Smith is a 2026 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Tuloso-Midway. Posted an 8.32 in the 60. Primary OF with a young build to fill out. Signs of good athleticism in the outfield, works well through the ball when the glove is intact. Has a quick release that should smooth out as his fundamentals and arm start to mature. On the mound the left-hander topped his fastball at 68 mixing a sharp breaking ball with 2/7 tilt that he landed. The delivery is uptempo and compact working downhill with a low 3/4 arm slot. Showed some pitchability to build on. Left-handed hitter is level through the zone. Loose swing with a lot of hands finding the barrel, good bat to ball skill and should start to produce well as he develops.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
