2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Connor Klostermann is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Calallen. Posted an 8.54 in the 60. Primary LHP with a young projectable build, he topped his fastball at 69 showing feel for the breaking ball. Showcased a fundamental look overall on the mound, the actions are clean with fluid arm action from a low 3/4 slot. Should start progressing the arsenal and feel to pitch soon with plenty of time to mold his craft. In the outfield he showed intent to work through the plays and carries momentum well. Arm action on the mound transfers to the outfield with more to see as he refines the feel for the position and advances physically. Much more comfortable working at 1B, he moves around the bag smoothly and with awareness showing some versatility in the arm as well. He has a mature feel for the glove in the corner with confident footwork and his best display of athleticism defensively. Left-handed hitter showed a good knowledge of timing swinging a heavy barrel with young quickness in the swing for now. The present impact is developing and should take the hit tool to the next stage as he builds strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
