2022 13U/14U Texas Prospect Showcase
Connor Comeau is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends Weiss. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, glove plays well out front at the ball, inconsistent release point but shows nice strength and carry on throws; shows looseness in actions in the outfield with solid direction in movements, longer gather into a crow hop, can maintain momentum through release better moving forward, shows carry out of the hand. Also pitched, some drop and drive lower half mechanics with a cross body release, works to a lower slot at release with looseness through the backside. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with life through the zone given release, lower effort release and able to miss barrels with in the zone; flashed a slider at 71 mph with maintained arm speed. Left-handed hitter, utilizes a big trigger for timing in the box, swings hard and shows looseness in wrists with some length through the zone. Shifts into contact well, creates some separation and leverage working to pull side, nice tools to project upon moving forward. Excellent student.
