Jason Steele is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B, OF, UT with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Driftwood, TX who attends Dripping Springs. Athletic build for age with long limbs. Ran a 7.62 in the sixty. Showed well in first base and infield drills. Good feel for the leather and stayed in line. Athletic look and quicker turn to bag. Solid arm action, good strength and accuracy. Clean round both ways. Also pitched, works from a high three-quarter slot and clean arm action. Really good parts and control down the mound with intent. Enticing four-pitch mix and slider stood out as a go-to pitch. Right-handed hitter, open stance and high back elbow with hanging leg lift. Short swing with solid extension. Good extension out front and separated late. More strength in store as he matures. Named to Top Prospect list.
