Preston Treadaway is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Episcopal. Ran a 7.87 seconds sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a taller slender build. Starts square with his set up working slow and methodical through the delivery with a longer arm action to an over the top arm slot. Got the fastball into the low 80's topping out at 82 mph getting some arm side run at times. The slider worked with some depth through the zone when attacking hitters down in the zone. The changeup showed a a change of pace with young command. Showed an understanding of the footwork at first base getting himself in a position to make an accurate throw. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base timing up the swing with a simple stride. Showed some developing bat speed not getting much extension at contact which will allow him to use his length to create more leverage as he gets the bat head out more consistently. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
