Brock Waghorn is a 2025 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Joplin, MO who attends Joplin. Big and strong young build with good present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a deep and low hand load, rotational upper body swing with lots of length and extension, power approach. 7.86 runner in the sixty. Shows athletic infield actions for his size and moves well side to side, makes accurate throws from a solid base. Took a turn on the mound, showed a loose arm with a loose wrist out front, big hip turn at the top of his delivery, works down the mound aggressively, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mostly straight, gets good shape on his breaking ball, threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
