Luke Duckworth is a 2025 3B/RHP/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Lemont, PA who attends St Joseph's Catholic Academy. Recorded a 8.09 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, high waisted frame with plenty of room and time to fill out. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates good approach into the fielding process with later funnel out in front and a glove tap during his exchange. Slightly elongated process into release, lower arm slot to throw and recorded developing arm strength up to 75 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with some deception and upside remaining. Incorporates slightly coiled leg lift into balance, while using good lower half engagement down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 77 mph in this look from a low three-quarters arm slot. Developing command that will improve with some mechanical adjustments. Mixed in slurve shaped breaking ball that flashes some horizontal tilt to it. Left-handed hitter that hits from an upright open stance with a flat hand start and hover trigger. Incorporates deep hand loading mechanism and slight drift into contact, while showing developing bat-to-ball skills and some compact hand speed. Pullside approach with occasional line drive impact when on-time and in-sync. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments, additional strength and maturity. Excellent Student.
