Riland Jones is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Fort Valley, GA who attends Stratford Academy. Thin build with proportional size in both halves of the frame. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, high release on throws, uphill angle to it, long gather, carries weight through the operation, solid overall fundamental base here, made the plays. Secondary left-handed pitcher, slower mover, compact arm action, big slide step into leg lift, higher release, low spin type profile creating weak contact. Left-handed hitter, even and upright, slightly open, high hands and back elbow, hands stay high with later dip, bottom half of the baseball being attacked, turned a few over to the pull side in the round. Will improve with continued gains in muscle and general size.
