2023 Salt Lake Workout Showcase
Braiden Catterson is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Springville, UT who attends Maple Mountain. Medium height with current strength to the frame. He ran a 7.96 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, he popped a 1.98 during drills and showed plenty of arm strength. Its a quicker release with feel to put the throw on the correct side of the base. He also worked out on the infield and has the ability to make all required plays at the hot corner. A right-handed hitter, starts wider and in line with the base and turns the barrel late to launch with intent. The path is flat and the his strength was on display as he drove balls to both gaps.
